What is a WATT (W)?
Answer: A measure of how much electricity you use.
What is a Kilowatt (kW)?
Answer: A kilowatt is 1000 watts.
What is a Kilowatt hour (kWh)?
Answer: The amount of kilowatts used in one hour.
Important Information:
ASPA’s residential rate as of April 2008 was about $0.35 / kWh.
What that means…
If you consume 1,000 kWh of electricity per month your bill will be 1,000 kWh x $0.35 / kWh = $350.
If you reduce your usage to 800 kWh of electricity per month you can save up to $70. That’s $70 more in your pocket. What would you do with an extra $70?
It’s simple: “Use Less, Pay Less”.
